| Bio: | Briefly:
I am 26, catholic, queer, an indefatigable optimist, and an erstwhile academic (though I keep it up in my spare time). If you are wondering what my LJ username indicates, you can read about it here.
This journal is a part of my project to fulfil the ancient injunction to "know thyself." If I can one day manage this, well - that's the best I can hope for. I'd like to have fun along the way, too. If you'd like to participate in this philanthropic venture with me, come aboard. I do rather like meeting new and interesting people.
My tools in this venture have been provided by nature, temperament, and education. These are also, at times, the source of my trials. I try to strike a balance among them: I do what I can, where I am, and in the time I have. My friends alone are blameless, and without them I shouldn't be able to carry on for very long.
